How do I know what type of therapist is right for me?

Knowing what to look for can be hard, so we’re here to make it as simple as possible. When you click "Find a Therapist"  you'll be asked to fill out as much or as little of our questionnaire as you'd like. We'll use that to help match you with talk therapists, providers who manage medication, or a combination of both, and we're always here to help you talk it through and figure out what might be best for you.

Some providers offer phone consultations. The best opportunity to have all of your questions answered would be to set up a phone consultation with the provider. This is a fifteen-minute, non-billed session where you and the provider can get to know each other, they can answer any questions you have, and you can both ensure that you will be a good fit. When you look at a provider's profile, you will see a "Schedule a phone consultation with ____ today" above "Book now" on the right column.

This should pull up their profile on They may not have openings on their calendar and if this is the case, you can head to to find a new therapist. You can also reach out to us to help match you with someone new!

If this does not work, we can help you get to their profile - just email us with their full name and location. If you’re already in contact with a provider, they can also book you directly through their calendar. They will just need to add you as a client and get you all set up. You can let them know the date and time you would like to be scheduled and ask that they add you to their schedule.
